come back next week for interviews from some of these fine artists. the coolest ones granted us access to their inner thoughts.
is your taste in music better than mine? prove it. leave something worthwhile in the comments.

this is something i wrote about the best emcee in the area:

i like the coverage of diverse genres in the area. i especially enjoyed the ‘heads up’ on Little Trooper’. ‘go figure’ is a great track although somewhat lacking in audio quality. that track along with ’space nap’ have whetted my appetite to see them live at their at their scheduled august date at The Boot. speaking of which, what a heavily under promoted place for an absolutely diverse and eclectic array of artists. i’ll be the first to admit i don’t attend nearly enough; however, that is due to my living on the peninsula. discretion has become the better part of valor when it comes to consuming my favorite beverages and then have to return to the peninsula…lol. the shows that i have attended have had absolutely great artists but have been woefully under attended or supported by any standard. i’d be quite interested in an interview with the owners of the boot to learn a little more about them, their view on music in hampton roads, what could possibly be done to increase the attendance so that we don’t lose them like we did Relative Theory Records, and just whatever else is on their minds. yes, we do have some good artists in this area and some great artists visiting the area. for the most part, this area doesn’t support that very well. i find it baffling and sometimes discouraging. good job escape. keep it coming.
agreed. support the boot kids. and what a beautiful website.
